How Elloia uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, analytics, advertising, and Hotjar, and how you can manage your choices.

Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This policy describes how Elloia (see our Legal notice for the operator’s identity) uses cookies and similar technologies on elloia.ai, including the marketing site, login and registration, the in-app experience, and embedded tools.

For how we process personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies (e.g. local storage or pixels loaded by third-party tools you approve).

Your choice (consent)

When you first visit, you can Accept all non-essential technologies or Reject non-essential ones. We store your decision in a first-party cookie named elloia_consent (typically for about 180 days) with values such as all or essential.

You can open Cookie settings (link at the bottom of the page) at any time to clear that cookie and see the banner again.

We initialise Google Consent Mode so that tags respect your choice before optional measurement or advertising cookies are used.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the service to work securely. They include, for example:

  • Session and security — keeping you logged in, CSRF protection, and related technical cookies.
  • Preferences tied to security or basic UI — where strictly needed to deliver the feature.
  • Cookie consent record — the elloia_consent cookie described above.

Optional debug or support flags (e.g. when enabled by an administrator) may set additional technical cookies; those are not used for marketing.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

With your consent, we load Google Tag Manager. GTM is a container that can deploy further tags on our instructions. It may set or read cookies associated with those tags. Which tags fire depends on your consent and on how we configure the container.

Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4)

Where you accept non-essential cookies, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (or comparable tools) via GTM to understand aggregated traffic and product usage. These tools use cookies or similar storage to distinguish sessions and measure engagement.

Advertising (e.g. Google Ads, social platforms)

Where you accept non-essential cookies, we may use tags from Google Ads and social advertising platforms (such as Meta/Facebook) for conversion measurement, attribution, and remarketing, in line with your consent and platform settings. These services may set their own cookies or read identifiers subject to their policies.

Hotjar

If we enable Hotjar, it may be loaded only when you consent to the relevant category (typically analytics / experience analytics). Hotjar may use cookies and collect usage signals according to its terms. Check Hotjar’s documentation for details.

Third-party services

Some pages may embed or connect to other providers (e.g. payment flows, video, or authentication). Those providers may use their own cookies when you interact with their content. Their use is governed by their policies.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of Elloia from working correctly.
